For a child who has known abandonment, change is rarely one singular turning point. Often, it is the accumulation of ordinary things that feel extraordinary when you have gone without them.

A stable home. A family table with a place setting waiting for you. People who know you deeply.

Over time, those moments shift from extraordinary. They become a childhood. They become a foundation. They become the beginning of a different story.

Cristian and Cristofer came into our care 10 years ago, believing they were all the family they had. That changed when they learned they had a younger brother, Cesar, who was coming into our care at just eight years old. Cesar was welcomed into the same home as his brothers, and the three met for the first time.

Now the three brothers are getting to know one another, and Cesar will grow up surrounded by the same stability and care that have shaped Cristian’s and Cristofer’s lives over the years.

For years, Not Forgotten has invested deeply in boys living in Iquitos, Peru, by providing the physical, educational, and spiritual care they need to grow into healthy, confident young men who can build a different future for themselves and their families.

Providing a stable home, nurturing family bonds, and walking with these young men through each stage of their lives. That’s what Not Forgotten does.

We can continue to faithfully serve because people like you continue to faithfully give.

Every child deserves more than a moment of help. They deserve the chance to see their story continue.
